Getting There

Please find all information regarding travel, parking and accommodation below.

Driving & Parking

The ceremony is in Leigh Woods, just over the Suspension Bridge from Clifton, Bristol. Crossing the bridge in a vehicle costs £1 per crossing, but is free to cyclists and pedestrians. Please note they only take card.

Leigh Woods has a Pay and Display parking scheme which runs everyday, from 9am to 9pm. There are lots of general public parking bays on the roads surrounding the church. Please be aware there are some parking bays that are only available to resident permit holders.

The reception is being held at The Mount Without, in the centre of Bristol. There are three multi-storey carparks close by (see map below). There are also several Pay and Display bays on the roads surrounding. However, some of these have maximum stay rules.

If you are driving and have space in your car, do let us know so we can try and buddy up.

Private Hire Taxis

There are several taxi companies in Bristol available for pre-booking. We recommend doing so, as sometimes Uber’s can be few and far between in Leigh Woods - especially if there’s a large number of people booking.

We recommend the following Taxi companies:

Veezu (formally V Cars): 01179 25 26 26

Bristol Taxi & Chauffeuring: 07919 922737

Club Cars: 0117 966 6633

Public Transport

There are lots of ways to get to The Mount Without from Leigh Woods.

There is the X4 First Bus, which goes from Bridge Road bus stop in Leigh Woods, down to the Centre (C10). From here it’s an approx 6 min walk to the venue.

You can also walk over the bridge and get the Number 8, 5 or 77 bus from Clifton Village.

There are also lots of e-Scooters and e-Bikes available for hire from Clifton Village.

Accommodation

The below map highlights several hotels in Bristol, all of which are very close to both the church and the reception venue.
